CC112: Two Faces Of Marlowe

This week it’s two from The Adventures Of Philip Marlowe, each with a different actor in the lead role.  First it’s Van Heflin in Who Shot Waldo from June 12, 1947.  Then Gerald Mohr takes the lead in The Panama Hat from October 10, 1948.  Dick Powell took the role once for the Lux Radio Theater, an episode we might hear sometime in the future.

RR109: Screen Guild Theater and Suspense

We’ve got two requested shows this week.  We’ll begin with Arsenic And Old Lace featuring Boris Karloff from the Screen Guild Theater.  That one first aired November 25, 1946.  Then it’s Ripley’s and Church Steeple.  Our second show stars Fibber McGee and Molly in Backseat Driver from Suspense.  That episode aired February 3, 1949.
