CC011: A Dollar and A Spade

We’ll start off with another show new to the podcast, Yours Truly Johnny Dollar. “Grave Diggers Spade” originally aired February 17, 1950. Then it’s a minute with Ripleys.

CC010: Rocky Rogue

This episode brings two as yet unheard shows to the podcast. We’ll start out with Rocky Fortune and “On The Trail Of A Killer.” Frank Sinatra plays the detective in this episode from January 1954.

For the second half of the show, we’ll hear Rogues Gallery starring Dick Powell. That episode is titled “Blondes Prefer Gentlemen” and first aired October 11, 1945.

We’ll hear two more stories this week. First, it’s Philo Vance in a February 1950 episode called “The Scarface Murder Case”. Then it’s Ripleys.

CC008: Mr. Keen and The FBI

This time around we feature two shows whose titles have to be among the longest in old time radio.

We’ll start the show with an episode of Mr. Keen, Tracer Of Lost Persons. “The Case Of The Moonless Night” first aired January 6, 1944.

Then, after Ripley’s, it’s an April 1953 episode of I Was A Communist For The FBI. We’ll hear “I Walk Alone”.
